Flora Celain was my father-in-law’s mother. She died on October 9, 1918 from Influenza. She was born in 1893 in New York City to Harry and Sarah Craft. She was a very talented person. She was a performer with the Yiddish (Jewish) Theater. She married Benjamin Celain and they had a son, George, who became a prominent lawyer in Philadelphia. My oldest child is named in her memory.
